German born chef Sven Garrett has a
5-year degree in Hotel Management & Culinary Arts from Hannover/Germany.
He worked in high-end restaurants and hotels in Germany before heading to Frenchman’s Creek Country Club in West Palm Beach, FL for two years. He then transferred to South Beach, Miami as the executive pastry chef at the Delano Hotel.
In 2003 he left Florida and moved to LA. Starting out in the busy catering world of Los Angeles, Sven soon built a clientele as a private chef.
He was the banquet manager at the Hotel Angeleno in Brentwood, CA for nine years, and has been the head chef at Kappa Kappa Gamma/USC for the past five years. During that time he produced a children’s cooking show “Willy’s Kitchen” for the web.
